Application Range

Currently, more than a thousand ATMs all over Russia accpet the withdrawal of cash in Russian roubles by CUP cards (some ATMs can also perform cash withdrawal in dollars). These ATMs are located in transportation hubs and living areas such as airports, hotels, supermarkets and drugstores of dozens of cities, which include major cities like Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Chita and Khabarovsk. 

CUP cards cannot perform over-counter transfer and cash withdrawal abroad.

Reminder: Cardholders are recommended to use CUP debit cards abroad since overdraft interest will be charged when drawing cash with credit cards.

Cash Withdrawal Procedure

The card will be returned before cash given.

Charge and Limit on Withdrawal

Daily cash withdrawal from a debit card should not surpass the foreign currency equivalent of 10 thousand RMB.Daily cash withdrawal from a credit card should not surpass the foreign currency equivalent of 5 thousand RMB.

Issuing banks charge a certain amount of commissions for overseas cash withdrawal. Limits on daily withdrawal times and amount as well as commission charges can be obtained from card issuing banks.

When drawing cash through CUP network, the currency exchange charge of 1%-2% will be exempted. CUP will change the amount in local currency into RMB amount to deduct from the holder’s RMB account.
