| CUP Cards: a new chain linking non-governmental exchange between China and Japan |
|
| |
In December, 2005, CUP opened its POS consumption operation in Japan and a series of relevant operations followed, which yielded convenience not only for Chinese people who go to Japan to work, live, or travel, but also for Japanese and overseas Chinese who consume in China. The small card is now a chain linking non-governmental exchange between the two countries and strengthening their mutual understanding.
People in both countries witness the blooming cherry flowers as well as the amelioration of governmental relationship between China and Japan in May 2008. In this beautiful season, the two countries attained great achievements in field of bankcard payment. A small CUP card, with its convenience in payment, does not only serves the interaction and development of tourism and economy in the two countries, the promotion of non-governmental exchanges, but also strengthen the mutual understandings between the two countries’ people in the context of mutual benefit.
